Step 1: Enable Less Secure Apps

Step 2: Create App Password
You need to create an app password to use Google's SMTP server. Follow the below steps:

- Scroll down to the "App passwords" section and click on "Generate new app password".
- Choose "Mail" as the app and your device as the device.
- Click on "Generate" and copy the generated password.
Step 3: Use SMTP Server in Your Email Client
Now that you have enabled less secure apps and created an app password, you can use Google's SMTP server to send emails from your own email address. Follow the below steps:
- Open your email client (e.g., Outlook, Thunderbird, etc.).
- Go to the account settings and select the option to add a new email account.
- Enter your email address and the app password you generated earlier.
- Choose "SMTP" as the server type and enter the following details:
- Server name: smtp.gmail.com
- Port: 587
- Encryption method: STARTTLS
- Username: your email address
- Password: the app password you generated earlier
- Save the settings and test the connection.
